Preparation time – 10 min
Marination time – 1 hr
Cooking time – 10 min
Serves – 4
Chicken drumsticks – 1 kg
Red chilly paste – 2 tbs (made by grinding byadgi chilies)
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbs
Tomato sauce – 2 tbs
Soy sauce – 1 tbs
Vinegar – 2 tsp
Pepper powder – 3/4 tsp
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Corn flour – 3 tbs
All purpose flour – 1 tbs
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry.
How to prepare/to make chicken lollipop –
Clean chicken drumstick pieces , drain out the water in it and set aside.
Add red chilly paste,tomato sauce,soy sauce,ginger garlic paste,vinegar,chilly powder, pepper powder,salt in a bowl and mix altogether properly.
Add chicken drumsticks into it and mix (so that the masala should coat to each drumsticks pieces )
marinate for 1 hr,set aside.
After marination add cornflour and all purpose flour/maida and mix altogether.
Heat oil in a kadai,when oil is hot deep fry marinated chicken pieces
Fry in a medium flame till chicken pieces turns to golden and crisp,when it is done flip to the other side and fry until it is done.Remove from the flame drain the excess oil in it.Continue the same procedure for rest of the marinated chicken pieces.
Yummy just irresistible, Chicken lollipop is ready to serve 🙂 enjoy the dish by dipping in mayonnaise sauce.
