Eggless mango glaze cake in pressure cooker

Eggless mango glaze cake is a seasonal sponge cake made using fresh mango pulp, An easy Mango cake recipe prepared in a pressure cooker without cream or butter. A glaze of mango and white chocolate for frosting makes delightful, and yummy dessert for special occasions or to serve as an evening snack.


For glaze –

Mangoes – 2 no’s

Sugar – 1/4 cup

clarified butter/Ghee – 1 tsp

White chocolate –  50 gm

To make mango cake –


Maida – 1 cup

Sugar – 1/2 cup

Oil – 1/2 cup

Milk – 1/4 cup

Mango glaze mixture – 1/4 cup or 3 to 4 tbs

Baking powder – 1 tsp

Cooking soda – 1/2 tsp

Salt – 1 pinch





Add mango pulp in a blender make a smooth paste without adding water.


heat a pan, add blended mango paste and 1/4 cup of sugar, saute it on a medium flame until the sugar dissolves completely.


after 4 to 5 mins the mixture thickens, at this stage add 1 tsp of ghee/clarified butter (to get a shiny/glazy glaze)  saute,


Remove from the flame and allow the mixture to cool completely.


Keep all the ingredients to prepare the cake.

Take a bowl to add 1/2 cup of oil and 1/2 cup of icing sugar, whisk it nicely.


then add 1/4 cup of milk, whisk it for few mins,

Now add sieved 1 cup of maida /all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, and a pinch of salt


mix it properly with a spatula until the batter combined well


Now add 3 tbs of prepared mango glaze, mix it nicely.

To prepare the cake in a pressure cooker add in 1½ cup of salt and close the lid of the cooker without keeping the gasket and whistle. heat for 5 to 10 minutes. as a result, gives a preheat oven atmosphere.


now transfer the cake batter to a cake mold (dia: 7 inches, height: 4 inches). make sure to line a butter paper at the bottom to prevent sticking.


and also tap twice to level up uniformly and remove any air bubbles if present.


place the cake pan into a preheated cooker. Cover and cook on a medium flame for 45 minutes. you can alternatively, preheat and bake at 180-degree celsius for 45 minutes.


insert a toothpick and check if the cake has baked completely if not continue to bake for another 5 or 10 mins. Cool the cake and then unmould the cake. finally, enjoy eggless mango cake as it is.

For frosting –

Add white chocolate add 1/2 tsp of milk in a cup,

Boil a cup of water in a wide bowl, keep the chocolate cup in it, stir until the chocolate melts completely. Once done allow it to cool for a while, transfer it to a polythene cover seal it and keep ready.


Now apply a thick layer of prepared mango glaze on the cake evenly.


now cut the edge of the chocolate-filled cone, draw straight lines and draw the same line vertically with a tooth-pick.


Delightful Mango glaze cake is ready!
