Knol Khol (Navil Kosu) – 1 cup chopped
Sprouted green gram – 1 cup
Carrot – 1/2 cup
Coconut – 1/4 cup
Coriander – small bunch chopped
Green Chili – 1 chopped (optional)
Roasted peanuts – 1 tbs (Optional)
For seasoning –
Oil – 1/4 tsp
Mustard – 1/4 tsp
Cumin – 1/4 tsp
Asafoetda – 1 pinch
Curry leaves – 1 spring chopped
Always select tender Knol khol (Navil kosu) to prepare a salad. Remove the skin of knol khol, chop it finely, keep all other ingredients ready. Add all the ingredients in a bowl, add salt to taste. Toss it.
Heat oil in a pan when it is hot, sizzle mustard, cumin, asafoetida, curry leaves remove from the flame, allow it to cool for few mins,
Add prepared seasoning to prepared salad,
Toss it well, add fresh lemon juice before you serve.
