Mushroom Manchurian dry is a restaurant style, tasty appetizer. It is one of the popular Indo Chinese starter recipe, an easy to make recipe with simple ingredients. Do try and enjoy as an appetizer or as a side dish.
To deep fry –
Button mushroom – 250 gm
Corn flour – 3 – 4 tbs
Rice flour – 1 tbs
Chilly powder – 2 tsp (adjust to your taste)
Salt to taste
For seasoning –
Onion – 1 diced
Capsicum – 1 medium chopped
Ginger garlic paste – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 pinch
Soy sauce – 1 tsp
Chilly sauce – 1 tsp
Tomato sauce – 3 tsp (adjust to your taste)
Pepper – 1/4 tsp
Coriander – 1 bunch chopped
Spring onion – 2 tbs chopped
Rinse mushroom in water, drain the water in it completely, Add flour and other ingredients, mix it properly sprinkle little water and make a thick batter,
Add mushroom (cut it into 2 or 4 pieces ) toss it well and keep ready, Heat oil in a kadai to deep fry, when it is hot deep fry it until golden brown and crisp.
Keep all the ingredients handy to start seasoning.
Heat little oil in a sauce pan, when it is hot add diced onion, fry until golden brown, add ginger garlic paste, fry until raw smell evaporates from it, add chopped capsicum fry for a while,
Add sauces fry for a while, sprinkle a pinch of garam masala powder.
Add deep fried mushroom, toss it well, add chopped spring onion and coriander, toss well, finally add pepper powder once again toss well, remove from the flame.
Serve hot with tomato sauce.
