Naan can be made from either all-purpose flour or whole wheat flour.The Naan made whole wheat flour is healthy but usually the Naan is made from all purpose flour.Naan can have further varieties of plain Naan, Butter Naan, garlic naan, cheese naan. In India bread is eaten more in north India. Here is a simple naan recipe.
Sieve the flour, keep all the ingredients handy.
Take a bowl add flour, sugar, salt and 1 tbs of butter, mix together, then add milk and curd, make a soft dough add water if necessary. Knead it to a soft dough, keep covered with a the lid/ keep it in a wet cotton cloth for 3 hours.
Once again knead it nicely before making. Divide the dough into a small ball and roll into a circle shape or oval shape as desired.
Take a tawa grease butter, on a medium flame put the rolled naan, cook until it turns to golden on both side. Apply butter on both side, cook till it reaches to golden brown in colour.
Soft and crispy naan is ready to serve. It taste good with any north Indian curries.
