Paneer butter Masala is very easy to prepare recipe which make a tasty side dish for roti or poori’s. Paneer is a high protein food having level of calcium and phosphorus which helps in building strong bones and teeth. It is considered as the best food, generally it is eaten on daily basis by vegetarian people to fulfill their protein need of the body. Paneer butter masala a delicious side dish here is simple and best recipe.
Preparation time -30 min
Cooking time-10 min
Onion-4 medium size [cut into medium pieces]
Tomato-3 medium size [cut into medium pieces]
Coriander leaves-1cup [chopped]
Garlic –I whole [about 8 to 10 cloves]
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi-2 tsp
salt to taste
Procedure for preparation of masala.
Soak cashewnuts and poppy seeds in hot water for 10 min
Take a pan add 2 tsp of oil and fry paneer cubes till golden brown and soak it in cold water [so it gets soft]
In the same pan add little oil and add all the ingredients except powders ,[i.e onions,tomatoes, ginger,garlic,cinnamon,cloves,fennel seeds, chopped coriander]fry till the raw smell changes to good aroma.And keep it to cool.
Make a paste of fried masala
Make a paste of soaked cashewnuts and poppy seeds.[into fine paste]
Add oil to the pan add jeera in a medium flame,add grounded masala paste fry, for a while
Then add cashew,poppy seed paste mix well.
Now add all powders and mix properly.
Add little water and bring it to boil for 5 min. Add sugar and honey, salt to taste.
Now add paneer pieces in to it.
Add kasuri methi,mix well and turn off the flame.Add 25 gms of butter to it.
Paneer butter masala is ready to serve with rich aroma. It goes good with naan, butternaan,kulcha, roti ,chapathi etc…..
