Peshawari chicken kebab recipe

Peshawari chicken kebab is an absolutely easy to make delicious appetizer. It is prepared with minced chicken. A flavorful spice powder is prepared by grinding fennel seeds, coriander, red chilies, cumin and pepper, with other simple ingredients which gives a rich and delicious taste to the dish, which can be prepared in a short time for any occasions.
Ingredients:
To make a dry powder –
Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
Coriander – 1 1/2 tsp
Dry chilies – 3 to 4 no’s
Cumin – 1/4 tsp
Pepper – 1/4 tsp
Other ingredients –
Minced Chicken – 500 gm
Onion – 2 no’s chopped finely
Tomato (optional) – 1 medium chopped (remove the middle part/water in it)
Green chilly – 1 or 2 chopped
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Coriander – 1 small bunch chopped
Mint (pudina) – chopped
Garam masala powder – 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala powder – 1/4 tsp
Corn flour – 3 tbs
Gram flour – 3 tbs
Egg – 1 single
Salt to taste
Oil to shallow fry
Method:
Take a mixer jar add all the ingredients to make powder, blend it to a coarse powder and set aside.
In the same mixer jar add minced chicken and blend it to a coarse paste,
Beat egg in a bowl, Add chicken mixture, spice powders, salt toss well, add all the other ingredients and mix it without adding water to it.
Divide the prepared mixture to make lemon size equal ball and keep ready.
Grease your palm with oil,Take a ball and make (flatten it to a medium size patties by tapping gently on placing it on your palm).
Heat a shallow pan by adding enough oil in it, when it is ready place/ arrange the patties on it. (Take care not to over crowed, shallow fry it by batches)
Shallow fry both side in a medium low flame until it turns to golden brown and crisp.
When it is done remove it from the pan and place it on a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil in it. Continue the same for rest of the mixture in 2 or 3 batches.
Serve hot with Garlic chutney , green chutney or any of your favorite sauces
