Prawns Lollipop

Prawns lollipops are the excellent starter, made with simple ingredients, deep fried until crisp, This makes an excellent starter for parties, an easy recipe with simple ingredients. A great appetizer or a side dish for a meal. 

 

Ingredients:

Prawns – 500 gm cleaned

Mozerella Cheese – 1/4 cup grated

Green chilly – 1 Tsp chopped

Garlic – 1 Tsp peeled and chopped finely

Chilly powder – 1/2 Tsp

Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp

Garam masala powder – 1/4 tsp

Pepper powder – 1/4 tsp

Corn flour – 1 1/2 tbs

Egg – 1

Bread crumbs – 1/4 cup

Salt to taste

Oil to fry

 

 

Method:

Add cleaned prawns in a blender, make it minced to a coarse mixture, without adding water,

Take a bowl, add minced prawns, grated cheese, chili powder, pepper powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder, coriander powder, chopped green chilies, salt and corn flour, toss it well

No need to add water, Heat oil to deep fry on a medium flame.

Make marble sized balls from the prepared mixture, dip it in the egg, roll it on the breadcrumbs until it Coates uniformly.

Deep fry in oil for 5 to 6 mins until it turns golden and crisp.

Serve Hot straight from the pan, Insert a small wooden skewer  to each,

Enjoy with your favorite dip.
