Bread Omelet is a simple and easy Indian breakfast menu, in which bread is cooked along with omelet itself. Quick Bread Omelette is a delicious Indian recipe served as breakfast or as an evening snack. It is a perfect dish to pack as a lunchbox dish for kids. It is one of the simplest dish for beginners or bachelors to try.

Preparation time – 5 min

Cooking time – 5 min

Serves – 2

Ingredients –

Bread  – 2 slice

Egg – 2 no’s

Salt to taste

Oil/butter

Method –

To make or to prepare Plain bread omelette –

Break eggs in a bowl, add salt to taste.

Blend /whisk properly until smooth, with help of a whisk.

Heat a flat pan in a medium flame, grease it with oil/butter, pour a ladle full of the egg mixture and spread it.

Immediately place a slice of bread on it, apply oil/ butter around it. Cook for 30 sec

Fold the edges carefully with a spatula.

Fold the other edge.

Flip and fold the other end. Cook for few seconds.

Give a cut as you desire. Remove from the flame. Continue the same method for the next slice of bread.

Enjoy Bread omelette with green chutney or tomato sauce.
