Raw mango sweet pickle is a tasty pickle that can be made instantly with grated raw mangoes, a sweet, sour, and tangy pickle that can be preserved for many days, perfect to serve with parathas, Rotis, or sandwiches.
Raw mango – 2 cups grated
Sugar – 3/4 cup adjust to your taste
Asafoetida – 1 pinch powdered
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Keep all the ingredients handy.
Heat a pan add grated raw mango and sugar, saute until sugar melts to a syrupy on a medium flame.
Add asafoetida, chilly powder, turmeric and cumin powder saute for a few mins, so that everything mixes properly.
turn off the flame.
Allow it to cool
Allow to cool and then put into a sterilized jar.
