Rawa roti rceipe or how to prepare rawa roti

Our morning breakfast was rawa roti, it is a quick and very easy  recipe for breakfast it takes very less time in preparation than any other roti’s. So it is considered as quick breakfast in our house.  It can be served for breakfast and evening snacks and for children lunch box.

Prepration time – 5  to 8 min

Cooking time – 5 to 6 min to cook per roti

Serves -4 to 5

Ingredients :

Chiroti rawa – 1 bowl (500 gms)

Onion – 3 nos (chopped)

Jeera – 1 to 1 1/2 tsp

Coriander leaves – 1 cup (chopped)

Carrot – 1 no (grated)

Salt to taste

Cooking soda – 1 pinch (optional)

Procedure :

Take a bowl add all the ingredients mix well by adding water so that it is not too thick nor too thin.

Grease a flat tawa with oil and take a medium size ball of rawa roti mixture place on tawa and spread it with wet finger into thin roti.

Pour around 2 tsp of oil and spread ,cook till the bottom turns to golden brown and carefully turn on the other side and continue by applying oil.

Tasty, healthy, crispy rawa roti is ready to serve .it taste good with the combination of red coconut chutney.
