Bread omelette is a quick and easy to prepare breakfast dish. Eggs are one of the best protein sources, spicy bread omelette is one of a delicious snack, which is prepared by adding chopped onion,tomatoes, with simple spice like pepper powder and chilly powder to make it delicious in taste.
Preparation time – 10 min
Cooking time – 3 to 4 min
Serves – 2
Onion – 2 no’s chopped finely
Tomato – 2 no’s chopped finely
Coriander – 1 bunch chopped
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 tsp
Egg – 4 no’s
Bread slices – 8 slices
Salt to taste
Oil/Butter to fry
To make or to prepare Spicy bread omelette –
Take a bowl, break eggs add into it, add pepper,chilly powder and salt to taste.
Blend it to a smooth mixture,
Add chopped ingredients into it,
Combine/whisk once again together.
Heat a flat pan, grease it with oil/ butter
Take a ladle full of prepared mixture and spread it on the pan.
Immediately place bread on it,apply oil/butter around it, cook in a medium flame till it is done.
Make a low flame, flip to the other side carefully or fold the edges on the bread slice/pack bread with prepared omelette.
Cook the other side in a low flame for 2 min. Cut it to desired shape.
Remove from the flame. Continue the same procedure for remaining mixture.
Enjoy Bread omelette as an evening snack or as a morning breakfast.
You can also add garam masala powder to make it more spicy.
Always cook bread omelette in a medium low flame, do not over roast the dish as it spoils the taste of dish.
I have added chilly powder in preparation, you can add chopped green chilies or chilly paste.
Sprinkle a pinch chaat masala while you serve Bread Omelette, to enhance the taste.
