The benefits of spinach are many. Leafy greens like spinach provide more nutrients than any other food, when compared calorie. Here are some spinach facts to consider dark leafy greens like spinach are important for skin and hair, bone health and provide protein, iron, vitamins and minerals.

Spinach-1 bunch washed and cleaned
Onion-large-1 or medium-2 nos cut into medium pieces.
Garlic-6 to 7 cloves
Green chillies-2 nos
Coriander leaves-1 small bunch
Oil -2 table spoon
Salt to taste
Wheat flour and water-1:2 ratio-two cup of wheat flour and a cup of water to make a dough.
Take a pan add washed and cleaned spinach into it
Close the lid,cook without adding water in a high flame about 3 to 4 min.
Remove and cool it for a while. Take amixer jar add only spinach make a fine paste of spinach, keep aside.
Take a mixer jar add all the ingredients (except spinach) shown in the first picture. Make a fine paste of it.
Meanwhile, take a pan add one table spoon of oil. Heat it on a medium flame and add grounded paste (step-2).
Mix well. Cook till the raw smell goes and till the oil separates. Then add spinach paste (step-1) into it.
Mix well for a while and add water and salt to taste ,bring it to boil and turn off the gas and add wheat flour into it.
Mix well and make a dough.
Divide the dough into medium balls and roll them into a circle. Heat a flat tawa and cook parota both side by applying oil.
Palak parota is ready to serve ,it get more tasty if you apply ghee on it and serve hot with coconut chutney.
