Wheat laddu I Godhi Unde

Wheat laddu is a quick and easy delicious laddoos  made with Wheat flour, Festivals are incomplete without sweets, Wheat laddoo’s is a delicious sweet snack made with wheat flour, sugar, ghee and cardamom powder, a healthy and tasty sweet snack prepared on festivals like Mahashivaratri, Diwali,  Janmastami, a nutritious and filling snack which can be made in a short time for any occasion.  


Wheat flour – 1 cup

Organic Sugar – 3/4 cup

Ghee – 1/2 cup

Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp

Cashew nut – 3 tbs made into small pieces

Raisin – 1 tbs (optional)



Add sugar to a mixer jar, make a fine powder and keep ready.


Heat a shallow pan by adding 2 tbs of ghee in in a medium flame, when it is hot add cahashew nuts fry until it turns to golden colour.


Remove and set aside separately. In the same pan add 2 tbs of ghee, add wheat flour in it,


Fry it in a medium flame until aromatic,


Take care while frying the flour, not to burn or under cook it, fry in a medium flame until the flour turns to light brown and aromatic. Once done remove from the flame


Heat remaining ghee until hot,


Add sugar powder, cardamom powder, roasted nuts, mix well


Add hot ghee, toss it with a spatula, allow it to cool for a while, when the mixture is warm enough take a a handful of prepared mixture, shape it to a round shape laddoo’s


In the same way make equal shape of laddoo’s with the remaining mixture.


Allow it cool, once done transfer it to an airtight container.


Enjoy Healthy and delicious wheat laddu’s .
